Hi, I'm Mary Gallo, a Broker Associate with Canvas Real Estate. I'm a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami and a longtime Broward County resident, and for the last seven years I've helped South Florida families buy and sell across Broward and Miami-Dade.

Before real estate, I spent more than thirty years in customer service. That may sound like a detour, but it's really the whole point: I learned how to listen, how to solve problems, and how to make people feel genuinely taken care of. On every deal, my goal is simply to make it feel smooth and stress-free.

Along the way I built a specialty most agents never do: I learned the water. In a market defined by canals, docks, and ocean access, that knowledge is the difference between a home you love and a costly surprise. Before you fall for a waterfront listing, I'm already checking the depth at low tide, the bridges between the dock and the inlet, and the seawall behind the yard.

Waterfront is only part of what I do. Across Broward and Miami-Dade, I help with first homes, move-ups, relocations, luxury and waterfront properties, commercial spaces, and investment purchases. I've handled about eighty transactions across just about every situation you can imagine, including same-day buy-and-sell closings, 1031 exchanges, and foreign-national purchases.

What my clients tell me they remember most is honesty. I'll tell you when a listing is overpriced, when to wait a week, and when the smart move is to walk away. I once spotted water stains a buyer wanted to overlook. The inspection found mold, and I supported their decision to walk. A few weeks later they found something even better. That is the job: protecting your best interests, even when it costs me the sale.
